Many Internet of Things (IoT) devices are on the market and in our homes today. These devices connect to the Internet and our smartphones, and offer enhanced functionality, but sometimes introduce vulnerabilities into our homes. This presentation given at Maker Faire New York Oct. 2016 explores common vulnerabilities in IoT devices, defenses against many of these vulnerabilities, and ways to implement these defenses into your own projects.
